"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day" (2 Corinthians 4:16).
Perhaps you have heard that the attendance cap for worship services has been lifted? Unfortunately, it is a little more complicated than just coming to church like we are used to doing. Here is a summary of the challenges we face and the restrictions we are currently under in Stage 2 of Alberta’s relaunch plan.
Register for this FREE workshop to be held on Wednesday, June 17 at 8pm (via ZOOM) with a guest speaker from the Calgary Pregnancy Care Centre. This workshop will provide insight, resources, and tangible tips for raising kids in the digital age. Includes information on the following: Building healthy, trusting relationships with your kids; Pornography and Internet safety; Safe-proofing your home; Healthy digital boundaries; How to talk with your kids about all of these topics! Only those who register will receive the ZOOM link.
We are thankful for your faithful giving! One thing to note is that giving to MISSIONS at OEFC was significantly down in May ($3,500 less than budgeted). If you are interested in having part of your donation go to support our missionaries, you need to indicate "Missions" for that amount (either one-time or on-going donations), otherwise your entire donation goes to the Operating Fund. Thanks!
Online or scheduled giving options can be found HERE; Cash or cheques can be dropped off at the church, T-F 8:30am-4:00pm; Cheques can be mailed to OEFC, 28 Westland Road, Okotoks AB T1S 1T2
In previous years, have you taken a baby bottle to fill with spare change to support the Calgary Pregnancy Care Centre? Would you consider giving $25 or more to a "virtual" baby bottle before the end of their campaign on Father's Day? Let's help them reach their goal! You can donate HERE (OEFC has NOT made a team page, so you can just donate on your own).
