Update #20 - OEFC's Bulletin for the Week of May 31

Greetings, Church! We would love to see you on Sunday and have one of our friendly ushers hand you a bulletin! But even when we are allowed to gather together in person, it will probably be awhile before we hand out printed bulletins! In the meantime, here are some items to note for information and prayer...

MISSIONARY OF THE WEEK

Graeme & Sarena Rattray (Kyra, Connor) serving with EFCCM (temporarily based in Edmonton) Pray for: 

• Graeme and Sarena's Thai friends who have lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 outbreak and who were already struggling financially; they are new believers whom the Rattrays have been encouraging to continue to trust that Jesus will provide for them
• Their adjustments to being back in Canada and for their support-raising
• Kyra & Nolan as they plan for their wedding in July

OPPORTUNITIES TO GIVE

BABY BOTTLE FUNDRAISER: Every year, OEFC partners with the Calgary Pregnancy Care Centre and its annual Baby Bottle Fundraiser. For 2020, you can donate HERE until Father's Day (donations above $25 will receive a tax receipt). This campaign raises funds to support vulnerable women and families in our community and increases awareness of the Centre for those in need of its services.
RIDE FOR A REASON: In support of ministries at Southern Alberta Bible Camp. Register to ride between June 20 and 27, or sponsor a rider HERE.

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES

A special bulletin is being prepared for OEFC graduates! If someone in your household is graduating from high school, please send their name, school, photo, and future plans to bulletin@okotoksefc.ca by June 1.

MEETING LOCATION TO BE DETERMINED

The Congregational Meeting & elections will be held (either in person or virtually or both) on Monday, June 22 at 7pm. There are 11 people applying for membership at OEFC. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Tim Seim before June 15. The election of Elders Board and Finance & Property Committee will also take place at the meeting.
